Ambassador was PACKED last night as milestones, birthdays and life were being celebrated. The event was hosted by Tom, Fresh & Mega. DJ Morse Code kept the crowd going all night long. Tons of USF kids came out to party, some recent grads, some just starting out. It was a party not to be missed!

Happy Pride! Yesterday was Day #2 for SF Pride Celebrations. Thousands of people swarmed Civic Center to show their support. The San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation. The two-day celebration is free and open to all. This year marked the 39th anniversary of SF Pride! It was exciting and fun, as always People danced, mingled, purchased items from the hundreds of booths set up and just had a great time overall. Proceeds from Pride go to local non-profit LGBT organizations and those organizations serving the HIV/AIDS and breast cancer communities. It’s an awesome time to go out and show you support.

Industry Freakz presents $2 TUESDAYS at SABOR Tapas Bar & Lounge! College students are out and about and made their way to SABOR last night! What place around the Bay Area will you find its a packed house on a Tuesday night? Ridiculously, no where else but SABOR of the infamous $2 TUESAYS! Upon my arrival at 10:30PM, the line was spot from a block away down the street from the entrance. Walking in, you instantly hear the sounds of hip-hop, top 40s and mash-ups plus video mixing from DJ Big Boy in the main room. Later in the evening, as the night gets busier the back room was forced to be open w/ DJ Slick D in the mix! Now that is what I call ‘ridiculous’ on a Tuesday night!

SF’s longest running Summer day time electronic music festival is back! After a seasonal hiatus, Mission Rock was back in action with Second Sundays! I don’t know if anyone else was sad that the cheese fries were mysteriously not an option on the menu, but the music more than made up for where the kitchen lacked! The opening party lineup included: Marques Wyatt, Doc Martin, Jeno, Julius Papp & Morrisson, Rooz, Laird, Nikola Baytala, Gordon Waze, Icon, Smoove, Ben Doren (& Jay Bowman on Guitar), Rouzbeh, DJ Gunz & Ace Tatsu, Jayvi Velasco, Bo, Von Woo. People were dressed for the sunny weather in their summer’s best. It was a great time and next month’s party will be highly anticipated as well!
